How to Apply?

Print Friendly

Operators interested in joining the GLAI need to fill out a membership application form (PDF document). On receipt of the completed form, the application is considered by the Executive Committee and the applicant is then notified of the decision. Members must comply with the principles and practices of responsible gambling as set out in the GLAI Code of Practice and Articles of Association.

All members of GLAI receive a certificate acknowledging that they are members of the trade association and have signed up to the GLAI Code of Practice.

Membership Fees

As the GLAI is a non profit trade association, and therefore relies on its member’s subscriptions to defray costs, all budgeted costs are divided among the members pro rata on the basis on the number of operating gaming and poker tables in their respective clubs.

One size does not fit all

The Association is also aware that one size does not fit all, and that for smaller regional operators a two tier approach to licensing would be more appropriate. In an attempt to make membership of the Association broader, we offer a scale of rates more appropriate to smaller clubs to enable them to afford membership and to have a say in the future development of the industry.
