About Us

The Gaming & Leisure Association of Ireland (GLAI), a non-profit trade association, was established in November 2005.  Our primary focus is to represent the casino sector and to advance the regulatory process for casinos in the Republic of Ireland. Consequently the GLAI has been at the forefront in helping operators, political representatives and Government Departments in their work towards establishing a regulated environment that protects consumers, Irish business and jobs in the sector. In the absence of a regulatory environment, we have established a Code of Practice for our members drawn from best practice in other regulated jurisdictions.
